Ken Horner
Mr. Horner has over 50 years of experience in using innovative ideas and technology to solve business problems. Before retiring and forming Isle Associates, Ken was a Deloitte senior partner for 38 years and worked with a broad range of major U.S. and international companies. In his career, he had a number of different roles in the firm: he was the Managing Director of Deloitte Consulting’s New York practice office—a $400 million operation; the founding Director of Deloitte’s Global Analytics Practice—$800 million annualized revenues by month 24; the leader of the IT Strategy practice in the US; the co-President of an information technology joint venture between Deloitte’s Japanese and American firms; the lead client service partner on Dun & Bradsteet, and SWIFT; the lead consulting principal on Lucent, KKR, and News Corporation. Over his career, he served a number of Deloitte’s largest clients, including: AT&T, Verizon, IntelSat, Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, Citibank, and Ford Motors. At Isle Associates, he has helped two publicly held and several private companies and startups, working directly with their Boards and senior leadership on strategic issues involving growth, new product development, business structure, acquisitions, and technology investment.
Mr. Horner has helped clients innovate and grow and understand the impact of new economic realities on their organizations, costs, and business processes. This work has included: corporate strategy, merger integration, diligence and divestiture support, carve out support for standalone operations, formulation of technology and business process strategies, back office operations improvement, corporate governance, strategic cost reduction programs, and new product technology applications.
Other interests include advising technology startups, IOT, robotics and autonomous vehicles, and golf.
